Non-material beings known as "sabers" inhabit human hosts to combat "frame users," creatures from another dimension that pose a threat to the world. When a saber takes over a body, the host typically loses consciousness. However, Kaon remains conscious while her saber controls her. The story explores how she responds when confronted by the dangerous entities she is meant to fight.
