Frau Faust

Centuries after a scholar's notorious pact with a demon became legend, the real Faust is a living, charismatic woman named Johanna Faust, who wears glasses and is not the aging professor of folklore. Seeking fragments of her lost demonic companion, she arrives in a small town and rescues a boy named Marion from a criminal sentence. As a condition for her help, she requests a favor from him, and Marion becomes fascinated by the unusual Doctor Faust, eventually accompanying her on her quest.
