Mochizane is an office worker who puts in effort at his job but constantly struggles with overwhelming workloads and the disdain of a younger coworker from another department. He accompanies his supervisor to Kodono, a town near Mount Fuji, to address a customer issue. Exhausted and at his breaking point, he decides to resign, but an unexpected turn of events changes his mind.
