A majority of the world is now the realm of the dead, overrun by phantoms. Nagi discovers a mechanical teenage maid with silver hair in a mountain of discarded wood and brings her home to fix her. The girl, named Elise, greets him with "Good morning, Nagi." Her origins remain unknown, but she and Nagi may hold the key to the world's future.
