Ryouma Muroto has long had affection for Mao Manaka, his childhood friend, who presents a graceful image but is known for her impulsive and determined nature. This personality often keeps her peers at a distance, making Ryouma feel uniquely close to her. Their routine shifts when Mao meets Hayato Honjou, a struggling actor. Ryouma observes a change in Mao as she becomes deeply interested in Hayato's career. She confesses her feelings for him and takes steps to get closer by joining a talent agency and relocating to Tokyo. Later, when Ryouma is approached by a talent agent, he chooses to pursue his own path in hopes of reuniting with Mao.
