A manga adaptation of Shouji Gatou's novel by Tetsuro Kasahara, its publication was halted due to a conflict between Gatou and Kasahara. The disagreement arose from Gatou's critical remarks about Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg. As a result, Kasahara announced he would stop promoting the manga and would not continue drawing it. He also stated his intention to donate any future profits from the series to environmental organizations.
