Mikito enters university with the hope of moving on from his past relationship with Zakuro. He begins dating someone new, believing he has left his painful memories behind. However, his peace is disrupted when he unexpectedly encounters Zakuro. She appears as a ghost, reappearing from his middle school days, and begins to follow him. Her presence complicates Mikito's current relationship and forces him to confront his past. As Zakuro's ghost clings to him, the situation becomes increasingly difficult for Mikito to manage. His emotional state is tested as he tries to balance his present and the lingering connection to his former love.
