Hilary moves out of her mother's home after securing a position with the San Francisco Symphony, hoping for independence. Her excitement is short-lived when she returns the next morning to find items from her fridge missing and an unknown bag in her apartment. A man she does not recognize confronts her, accusing her of being in his house.
