Fuuma no Kojirou: Yagyuu Ansatsuchou

This manga is a spin-off of the Fuuma Kojirou series, set several years after the original events by Masami Kurumada. The Fuuma clan is now represented by Kojiro and his disciples, Komomo, Tora, and an older companion. A new threat emerges as Renya Yagyu, Ranko's brother, seeks the legendary sword Fuurin Kazan, believed to belong to Kojiro. This quest leads to a larger conflict involving a secretive branch of the Yagyu family, the Karmasho clan, which aims to resurrect a dangerous force by sacrificing many, targeting Himeko Hojo, the Fuuma priestess. Several familiar characters from the original series reappear in a setting filled with schemes and hidden agendas. The story and artwork are created by Yuri Satoshi, whose style resembles that of Masami Kurumada.
