Gachaboi's Record of One Generation
がちゃぼい一代記
A manga creator named Tezuka Osamu encounters a man resembling a homeless person in Osaka's black market in September 1945. The man claims to be the god of manga and expresses intent to enter Tezuka's body to spark a manga boom in Japan. Following this, manga gains massive popularity in the country. Tezuka becomes a well-known cartoonist and founds Mushi Production, an animation studio. The studio's animated adaptation of "Astro Boy" receives praise in the United States. As Tezuka achieves success, the god reappears, criticizing the lack of quality in most Japanese manga. This prompts Tezuka to reflect on his work and recognize the god's warning against complacency.
