The Empire later abandons her, replacing her with a more obedient saint and accusing her of being a fraud. In response, Gloria gathers a varied group of allies and devises a plan for revenge. With the help of her male companions and her mace, she seeks to reclaim her reputation and punish those who betrayed her.
