GAME OVER

A young male middle schooler and an attractive office worker become involved in an unusual romantic narrative that spans from their initial encounter to a defined conclusion. The office worker, Akemi, finds her routine life monotonous and initiates a small, daily challenge to liven it up. Each day at 7:14, she boards her regular bus, selects a passenger that catches her attention, and sits beside them. If the passenger glances at her, she considers it a win. Initially a pastime, the game becomes more engaging. Some passengers react—waking up or pausing in recognition—while others remain oblivious. When a boy appears completely unaware of her presence, Akemi feels challenged and decides to intensify her efforts to achieve her goal. The story includes three additional self-contained tales: Yukai no Susume, Kedama no Cake, and Kinou Kenka wo Shimashita.
