Hiromi Honda, known as Hiroppe, is the most popular student at her school. Each morning, she begins her day by saying, "I must do my best!" One Sunday, a disheveled young man with a raccoon dog on his shoulder visits her and asks for food. He introduces himself as her cousin and later enrolls at her school as a transfer student. The story includes this main plot along with two additional short pieces.
