Ganghopyosa

A nameless boy lives in poverty in a rural village, unaware of his parents. The village becomes a battleground due to conflicts among the powerful Moorim people. After nearly dying in the ruined village, the boy is rescued by an old man. Disillusioned with the corrupt Moorim, the old man renounces them and asks the boy to assist the weak under the Hyeopdo mark. As years pass, the boy is named Mu-Yeong and grows up as a Hyeopdo representative. However, while his master seeks to help the suffering without reward, Mu-Yeong is primarily interested in making money and living on a remote island. The question remains whether he can become the righteous gangster his master envisions.
