A wish has been made to kill all students, allowing Dokkaebis—creatures that normally must only help people—to target them. Students are disappearing frequently. Ki-mok, a student possessing one of 44 known "Blood of Gold" traits, is now being hunted by these supernatural beings, who seek his blood to enhance their power.
