Madoka Kaname's sacrifice ended the cycle that doomed magical girls to tragic fates. Despite this, the magical girls continue to battle dark forces threatening the human world, which remains unaware of Madoka's role in its salvation. Homura is the only one who remembers Madoka, carrying the memory through every battle—until now. Homura finds herself attending school with Madoka, fighting and laughing with her as if nothing has changed.
