Gene Bride

Isahaya Ichi is a woman who faces workplace sexism and unwanted attention from men, leading to frustration with the opposite sex. Her perspective shifts when Masaki, a former classmate, reenters her life. He asserts they were paired together during a middle school event known as "Gene Bride," which used genetic data to match students as couples for a day. Ichi recalls little about the experience, but Masaki's return prompts her to revisit the past and uncover hidden truths.
