Gensenkan Shujin

A collection of short manga stories published in *Monthly Manga Garo* between 1965 and 1970 features various standalone narratives. These include tales centered on a secondhand book and a young girl, a man at a seaside location, a swamp, a mountain pass and a dog, a willow inn, mushroom hunting, a fake warrior, a lively character named Chiiko, a salamander, a wake, and a screw-style mechanism. Each story is distinct, with no recurring characters or overarching plot. The works were originally published in different issues, with one story appearing in two parts. One entry was initially published in 1960 and later redrawn and republished in 1966.
