Gesu to Kamisama

A new student named Midori arrives at school, distant and unapproachable, drawing attention from others. Ao discovers she is a deity after witnessing evidence and confirming it directly with her. He makes a wish through a mysterious "God mail" system circulating the school, and she fulfills it by killing him before resurrecting him as a shinigami. His task is to appear at the moment someone plans to commit suicide and die in their place. Each time he does this, he experiences the pain of the death, making the duty unbearable. Simply preventing a suicide attempt does not resolve the underlying issues that led to it. Ao must find a way to manage his new, painful existence.
