This manga is part of the Ken Ishikawa Getter series, occurring after *Getter Robo Go* and before *Getter Robo G*. It follows an older Hayato as he leads a new group of pilots and a new Getter robot in a battle against massive plant-like creatures threatening Earth. An additional chapter is included in the final volume.
