A junior knight named Roselyn is saved from a cliffside after being attacked by forces from a rival kingdom, but she emerges with no memory. Her brother, Calix, is initially glad to see her alive, though troubled by her changed behavior. She acts immaturely, has an enormous appetite, and displays extraordinary strength. Calix begins to suspect that something is amiss.
