Everyone carries a ghost somewhere inside them: a feeling held with total conviction that refuses to be put into words. Here it belongs to a girl named Nike, who sets herself against a senseless world in order to protect the starry sky above it. The work traces her isolation and her nerve, along with the delicate shifts in feeling that come from letting other people close.
