Gift: Under the Rainbow

A high school student named Haruhiko Amami is connected to the unusual forces of his hometown, Narasakicho, a place marked by a permanent rainbow in the sky and a unique ability called Gift. Every resident possesses this power, which can be used only once in a lifetime to perform a miracle. The success of a Gift depends on mutual feelings between the giver and the recipient; if these are not aligned, the power becomes destructive, leaving a black streak in the rainbow. The narrative begins with the return of Haruhiko’s younger sister, Riko Fukimine, after an extended absence, triggering rapid changes in his life and stirring up past emotions.
