A promising officer from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department encounters a high school student named Yuuya when the boy unknowingly passes the site of a challenging murder case. Yuuya quickly identifies the killer, drawing the officer's curiosity. Later, when a new incident occurs at Yuuya's school, the two meet again. Together, the young officer and the student, who possesses an undisclosed ability, start investigating the unfolding mystery.
