Gifuu Doudou!!: Naoe Kanetsugu - Maeda Keiji Hanagatari

During the 16th century in Japan's Sengoku Period, a time of conflict among warlords, the Uesugi Clan safeguarded the Echigo Province. Naoe Kanetsugu, born an illegitimate son of his lord Uesugi Kenshin, who had vowed never to marry, emerges as one of the few figures seeking integrity in a time of deceit. Following the death of regent Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1598, Japan descends into a struggle for power between Tokugawa Ieyasu and Ishida Mitsunari. This conflict culminates in the most devastating battle in Japanese history: Sekigahara. The narrative follows passionate warriors bound by their sense of honor.
