Ginza Neon Paradise

Aoi and Takahiko, childhood friends in 1940s Japan, separate when Takahiko is drafted into the military. Aoi remains in their hometown, growing increasingly anxious as no news arrives from Takahiko. Assuming his friend is dead, Aoi is caught off guard when Takahiko suddenly returns. Overcome with conflicting emotions—relief, anger, and sorrow—Aoi struggles to reconcile his expectations with the reality of his friend's return. The absence of communication during Takahiko's time away has left Aoi uncertain if their bond can be restored. The question remains whether their friendship can survive the time and silence that separated them.
