Gion no Tsugai

In Gion, the capital of Japan, a mysterious divine power has brought prosperity by transforming certain girls into half-animal beings, marking them as servants of a god and granting them strength. Those who master their power become Onmyou and battle evil, while others lose control, becoming Orochi destined to destroy humanity. Previously, those who turned into Orochi were considered beyond saving and had to be killed. A young man named Gion challenges this belief by rescuing a girl who has become an Orochi. The question remains whether he can overcome these creatures and end their threat.
