Gishi Sanjinden

A compilation of one-shots with loose connections to the author's other short stories. It includes tales about a human-like animal, a girl who swaps her face with herself in a puddle, a mermaid trapped in a flask within a polluted river, and deities appearing in contemporary urban settings. Originally published as a webcomic, the collection was later expanded for the tankōbon release. The contents are six individual stories plus an additional piece, all falling under the science fiction genre.
