Natsumi moves to a boarding primary school after her parents' divorce. She lives in a dormitory with classmates who each have difficult home lives. The dorm is known for its great meals, run by Natsumi’s uncle, Takurou. Despite their young age, the children face various challenges living together. While food helps ease their struggles, daily life in the dorm remains difficult.
