In Tokyo, stray cats like Nanao fight to survive. Once a pet, he became a stray after a tragedy and depends on another cat named Machi. When a brother and sister begin feeding the strays, Nanao slowly grows close to them. The two humans run a bathhouse and each carries personal struggles. As Nanao connects with them, he may help them find healing and possibly a new place to call home.
