On his first day at school, Taiga Makihara nearly drowns in a manure pit but is rescued by Konoe R. Chika, the admired student council president. This event sparks Taiga's affection for her, prompting him to work hard to get closer. Later, he learns that Chika is not a real person but a fabricated identity of five quintuplet sisters, each with distinct traits and skills. This revelation raises the question of whether the girl he fell for is real.
