Edamura Makoto is a skilled young conman in Japan, but he faces a challenge when he encounters Laurent Thierry, a French fraudster with ambitious schemes. Makoto ends up in Los Angeles, reluctantly joining Laurent to target a powerful movie producer and drug dealer. Though Laurent's strategy is solid, Makoto questions whether he can be trusted.
