Betsy and her wealthy Greek husband are undergoing a divorce. She had hoped to have a child with him, but discovered he had a vasectomy. She believed he never wanted children with someone of her background. After living separately, her ex-husband unexpectedly returns and they spend a night together. Weeks later, Betsy begins experiencing physical changes.
