Yuuka Shinchiro is a high school student who lost his parents in an accident. One night, while walking in a park, a child's head lands in his hands, and he is bitten by an alien. He initially believes the event was a dream until he discovers a bite mark in the same spot. The next day, news reports reveal a child's head was found in the park with blood. Yuuka investigates the scene and encounters a violent man inquiring about the "abyss." The man later visits Yuuka at home and refers to him as the Grim Reaper.
