A nine-tailed fox named Hyun-Su needs to fill 1,000 fox bowls with a woman’s affection to become human. On the verge of completing the final bowl, Yi-Hwa, a woman from the Joseon Dynasty, dies holding it. Her death leaves Hyun-Su disillusioned with human love, and centuries pass without him achieving humanity. In 2025, he encounters Baek Ha-Jin, a woman who looks like Yi-Hwa and is in possession of the bowl. Believing her to be Yi-Hwa’s reincarnation, Hyun-Su aims to gain her affection and finally complete his transformation.
