A 42-year-old businessman is transported to an alternate version of modern Japan where a deadly sport known as "D-sport" is widely popular. In this competition, killing is considered the proper outcome, and both the loser and those who break the rules are executed immediately. The protagonist is unaware that he will be forced to take part in this lethal activity. The first event is a 500-meter race, marking the start of an extreme and unforgiving athletic competition.
