On a fortunate day in June, Tomoya Asahi meets Ruri, a woman from the Tsukinoin Zaibatsu, for a possible arranged marriage. Though he finds her likable, he declines the proposal, unwilling to subject a girl 12 years his junior to a political union. Despite this, he agrees to another date. It appears they have encountered each other at the same location a decade earlier. The narrative follows their evolving relationship as a young woman and a physically strong man navigate an arranged marriage dynamic.
