Hai to Oukoku

In a declining empire, the northern regions suffer from broken law and encroaching darkness, endangering local communities. A young boy named Phineas, who works at a mill, is compelled to flee his home with his family after being displaced from their windmill. They seek safety in a town controlled by former soldiers turned bandits. The narrative follows Phineas as he travels with the help of his family and friends in search of a peaceful place to settle.
