A sickly and socially withdrawn princess marries a sharp-minded knight who did not desire the union, leading to a troubled marriage. After enduring further tragedy, their lives change dramatically. The story follows the former princess, now regarded as "the Failure Princess," and the young count, known as "the Ice Knight," whose intertwined fates bring about a series of misfortunes.
