Hajimete Koi wo Shita Hi ni Yomu Hanashi

Junko Harumi focused on academics throughout high school with the goal of attending the University of Tokyo. She did not pass her entrance exams and instead enrolled in a less prestigious university. Now working as a teacher at a modest cram school, she remains unmarried at 31 and feels increasingly discouraged. Her job lacks prestige, and she struggles with low productivity, making her future uncertain. Despite the bleak outlook, a troubled student may unexpectedly change the course of her life.
