Honoka is the narrator's childhood friend, a strikingly lovely girl in delicate health. Her ethereal appearance, as though she might vanish at any moment, has earned her the nickname Fragile-looking Girl. That impression, however, conceals something about her that others do not suspect. The work is a childhood-friend romantic comedy built around a heroine whose apparent frailty hides a surprising and endearing side.
