After the Principality of Arita fell to the Skinia Empire, noble children were sent to an imperial academy. Upon turning eighteen, they are arranged in marriages to integrate them into the empire. Tiana, a countess, is paired with Adele, a top-ranking knight, with whom she has never had a good relationship. On their first night together, Tiana believed their marital duty was complete.
