Hakuyou no Musume

Tamamo is a young noblewoman in the late Heian era with curly hair, a feature considered unattractive. After her father and sister die due to the cruelty of a powerful noble, she seeks revenge. She meets Naoto, a kind young man with ambitions to become an Onmyouji. Together, they accidentally release an evil fox spirit named Otsuka-sama, who offers Tamamo the chance to punish those who destroyed her family in exchange for her soul. The story explores the origins of "Tamamo-no-mae" and the "Nine-tailed fox."
