Hamuko to Gao-kun

Kimiko Mihoshi and Gao-kun, known as a class delinquent, are both elected as class representatives. While looking for Gao-kun to invite him to a class event, Kimiko encounters him with two other students and mistakenly believes he is bullying them. She steps in, only to discover that the three are close friends. Contrary to his reputation, Gao-kun is kind and approachable. Surprising her further, he asks Kimiko to be his girlfriend. Confused and unsure how to respond, Kimiko faces a new and unexpected situation. The story follows the start of their complicated relationship.
