Hanamikoji Kita Nikki

A high school girl named Mizuki lives in the northern part of Hanamikoji in Kyoto, an area known for host clubs and cabaret venues. She knows Hikaru, the manager of Club Paradiso, and is part of the Japanese Culture Club at school. Hikaru asks her to read "The Tale of Genji" for him, but Mizuki, who is typically unemotional, struggles to grasp the concept of sorrow described in the book.
