A high school student living alone after his father left for overseas work, Hiroshi Minakami feels unlucky. At the urging of a friend, he tries to improve his fortune by helping others. His efforts include rescuing a mistreated kitten, assisting a woman collecting charity, and cleaning a soiled cherry tree, but his situation worsens. Later that night, a cat fairy, a crane girl, and a small goddess appear and express affection toward him, marking the start of a complicated love-comedy involving all three.
