Happiness

A compilation of brief narratives by Usamaru Furuya. One story portrays a girl's connection with her teacher. Another centers on two cousins, an older man and a younger girl, both attending the same school, with one serving as a teacher and the other as a student. When the older cousin disappears from school for several days, the younger is tasked with visiting the cousin's home to learn more. Additional stories include titles such as *Song of the Devil*, *What If?*, *Happiness*, *A Room of Clouds*, *Indigo Elegy*, and *Underground Doll*. *A Room of Clouds* follows Yuno Yamase, a girl who is mocked and belittled by others due to her perceived dullness. Rejected by her classmates and disappointed by her family, she resolves to abandon her past. The story questions whether Yuno can find the happiness she desires in a harsh world.
