Ruriko Suzuki lives with her TV director father, actress mother, and two older brothers in a home where each person does as they wish. The family dynamic shifts when the father suddenly announces he is leaving and disappears. This disruption causes other family members to also leave, seeking independent lives. Now alone at thirteen with no place to go and no support, Ruriko begins operating the family home as a love hotel for teenagers to earn money. Navigating this new, adult world proves difficult for her, and the challenge remains how she will manage to find her way forward.
