A new student at SMP High School faces daily bullying from classmates, who leave trash on her desk and thumbtacks in her pencil case. She eats lunch in the bathroom to avoid harassment. One classmate, who does not bully her, shows concern and offers support, including inviting her to sit with him at lunch.
