Hataraku Watashi to Kanojo no Dousei

Mari, who is seen as emotionally distant, works at a flower shop and takes in Sumirei, a high school girl left without a home after her mother's death. Sumirei, grieving and unwilling to speak, moves in with Mari, and the two initially live together in silence. Over time, Mari learns about Sumirei’s past and school life, and Sumirei slowly begins to open up. As Mari observes Sumirei’s pure and simple way of living, she starts to recognize flaws in her own emotional approach to life.
